RICH GEER


Rich has been married to Carol (Sharp) Geer for 45 years.  They have two children: Daniel and Nikki. Rich is a graduate of Michigan State, with a degree in Fine Arts. He currently works in the creative arts for the Michigan History Museum in Lansing. He is also a portrait and landscape painter, percussionist and singer. Rich has co-led the Revolution Against Evolution Christian broadcast since 1993, recording 900 shows so far (www.rae.org).  He has taught on creationism and Intelligent Design in South Africa, Jamaica and throughout the United States along with author Doug Sharp. Rich was raised in a large Catholic family but by the time he was in college, he was a regular user of peyote (mescaline) and marijuana.  He had a God-arranged meeting back in Lansing in which he came to know the power of God thanks to his friend Doug Sharp. He married the girl next door (Doug's sister) and together they started the Christian music group Charis.  Rich has since seen many of his family come to Christ and had the privilege of baptizing his own father after he also made a commitment to Christ.



KERBY RIALS


Kerby has been married for 41 years to Sheila. They have two grown sons: Luke and Daniel.  Kerby and Sheila have served 25 years as missionaries in Switzerland, Russia and Belgium, retiring from full-time overseas service in 2018.  They both speak Russian and French. Kerby is a graduate of Michigan State in journalism, and of Mount Hope Bible Training Institute. He also studied at Continental Theological Seminary in Belgium. He is ordained with the Assemblies of God and has pastored churches in the United States, Russia and Belgium. He was interim pastor for seven months of Oil City Assembly of God in 2020. He is the author of The Three Great Churches, Life by Faith, and Once Saved, Always Saved: True or Not?. The Three Great Churches has been translated into six languages. Kerby’s hobbies are tennis, reading, music composition and recording, guitar, basketball, Bible study, writing, travel, and movies.  He has known Rich Geer since 1975, when he joined the singing group which Rich led, as lead guitarist. Kerby went to middle school in Haslett, and high school in Williamston and Harry Hill (Lansing). He is also on the board of Endeavor House, a residential center for those recovering from drug addiction. He came to faith in Christ at the age of 16, and saw God set him free from depression and suicidal thoughts.
